Ma Woodard
Mary Lee Baker Woodard

Known as Ma Woodard, she had a store on Hwy 421 at the junction of the road to Harlan and Elys Creek. She was born 13 July 1881, married George Woodard in 1900 and went to be with the Lord on 26 November 1964.
I was told that Ma drove a Model T or Model A, wasn't sure which. When she came flying around a curve, the car didn't lean...Ma did. She was a woman loved and respected by many!
