A MINER'S PRAYER

O God of Heaven and the Earth,
I know our time is short,
So give us another day where danger lurks,
On every corner, in front of us O Lord.

O God of the Mountains and the Plains,
I'm a coal miner back in the mines,
I pray that you will give me the strength,
To load a few more cars of coal on the Line.
